Thanks Yeah it is better to check frequently whether the apps are running in the background and stopping them.

Where in the Android kindle app are setting for brightness? I don't see those settings around the app version that I have.

I am yet to try the app version of kindle. Is it good?

I stay clear of apps for this very reason, the fact that they are a drain on your battery life. The only one I have on my phone is whatsapp, but I can honestly say it doesn't seem to weigh down my phone all that much. I don't even understand how people are able to read on their phone via the Kindle app. That must be a huge drain!

Whatsapp drains battery much but it depends on the amount of time we are using it. Optimal usage will save a lot of battery's energy.

Any application which runs in background is killing the battery. Also it make hot the phone.

I use my mobile phone everyday and i use it for facebook, twitter, instagram, pinterest, rabadaba and so on. These apps don't consume more battery than the gaming app called Big time make money which i play everyday.

Yeah. The apps running in the background can drain your battery and makes your phone hot too which really bad. Regularly checking of the closing of apps can save battery.

I too thought the same at first but after writing this article I came to know that it actually drains your battery. It is better to check before installing any apps.
