KILLER HABITS TO BOOST YOUR SELF -CONFIDENCE

There are times when we have looked at a person and tell to ourselves how confident he/ she is. You can see it from the way they walk, communicate with the people and make their presence. So, what is self-confidence? It is trusting once own abilities and skills. Self-confidence can be reformed by improving some of our habits.

Exercises and workouts
Exercising is not just good for our physical health but also good for our mental health. Besides these exercising and working out on a regular basis can help you improve your confidence in a great level. While working out you will get exhausted which relieves off stress in both mind and body. Also working out intensively will shape your body and makes you fit which improves our level of confidence. Having a fit body means we are more healthy and active which automatically boosts your confidence while meeting people.

Meditation
Meditation is often misunderstood as a spiritual routine. Besides spiritual benefits it helps in easing our nerves, calming our heart rate which is scientifically proven. Studies show that people who meditate on a daily basis are considered to be more productive, active, improve their profit rate, better communicators, good listeners than those who don’t meditate. Meditating on a daily basis will bring inner peace and tranquility which will help you to think clearly and respond proactively. This, in turn, improves your level of confidence.

Cold showers
Do you feel lethargic after taking bath in a hot shower? Of course, you will. Hot showers tend to make you feel lazy and lethargic and in the end making you feel sleepy. That is one of the reasons newborns are always given a hot water bath. Instead, if you step into a cold shower it will open up your neuro- transmitter and releases some of the hormones which pump up happiness. Also, having a cold shower will make you feel energetic and active which will help you clear off your mind which is needed to take a decision confidently.

Reading
This is a well-known fact that reading improves your self-confidence. Reading a lot of motivational and positive things will help you fight anxiety and helps you to think for a solution for the problem in a different perspective. Also reading books like tips to improve self-confidence, how to manage life etc will give you new ideas and better insight on how to be more confidently in tough situations. Reading is one of the powerful ways to build up your self-confidence.

These are some of the daily habits in our day to day life. By bringing a change in these simple habits will have a major impact on your confidence. By improving these habits you will automatically cultivate the habit of accepting the reality. This habit just doesn’t come easier and it requires firm determination and practice. “The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is PRACTICE.” So, true to this quote be exceptional by practicing. By being confident we shall be happier and also make the people around you feel comfortable. Also, you can be able to inspire people around you.

Thanks for reading.

I can definitely agree with exercise, working out and just in general taking better care of our self. I know if I lost some weight I would feel better to be back at a weight I was 10 years ago, I may of been more shy back then but I had way more confidence. I did not know reading could help that way, that is very cool to hear.

Cold showers, I do agree on that, helps to "awaken" myself, to feel refresh and boost up my confidence too.
Another thing is to have someone to encourage me, in a positive way, not just to curry favor, that is beneficial too

I have experienced this myself as I shed some weight in the past few months and looking myself in the mirror made me feel confident. I wish you good luck to lose some weight. don't worry my friend you will. I have hopes on you :)

Cold showers, this is very new to me. I take showers during the night and regularly at present because it is Summer already in our country. I just like to be in a cold shower because it gives me a cool feeling, I never thought there are deeper reason for this. Thanks for including that one.

I like the meditation and the exercise. Some people tend to worry a lot. I would say to stop worrying so much because it will eat away at your confidence. Do birds worry about what they are going to eat? Trusting yourself is another key to confidence. Believe in your abilities and know that everything you need is already inside of you. Your beating heart is a sign of confidence.

Yeah, grecy I too didn't know that cold showers have this benefit too. So, from this, I have made a compulsion to take cold showers no matter what.

Yes, it really does. Reading story books especially thriller and suspense had boosted my confidence level. Try it out and share your experience.

Well, at first I too hated that but now I couldn't feel fresh without having a cold shower. I recommend you to try it out as it really helps. :)
