Selling products is not easy but it could be easier if you know your product and be honest for what other people get from it. Persuasion is needed to get a customer. How to be persuasive in selling? How to use it to sell? Below are the tips to help you to be persuasive in selling.


Be Considerate
In selling, do not force people to buy what you are selling. If they do not see something attracting to what you sell, they will definitely say, No. Do not force people but follow the rules in selling that after you made your pitch and gave all the information needed for your product to sell, let them go once they say No. Still be nice and say thank you for they allowed you to do your sales pitch for a little time.


Be Enthusiastic and Confident
Being enthusiastic is like getting excited to share the whole world about your good news. Being confident will show on your face and body that you know what you are saying. If these two will combine, surely you will attract people to buy your products. In addition, knowing everything about your products will give you the confidence to answer all the questions that will throw at you. Study your products more, know everything, be enthusiastic and confident.


Be Specific and Clear
If you are selling, be specific with your information. You don’t need a long introduction because people will only want to know about the product itself. Make your sales pitch be specific about what is good in the product and clear by making all the information easy to understand. Do not use vague words just to make the sales pitch look amazing. The important is to tell the people what the product is and how it could help them.


In Doing Favor, Provide a Reason
Not only for doing a favor, it could be used in selling too. If you are selling something, provide a reason why people should buy it. People should know the reason why they need to have it. What they will get from having it. They will not buy any products without knowing the benefits. If you said your products are very useful, provide the reason. If your product is popular, why it is popular? If you said they can save a certain percent, how does it happen? Provide reason. That is the only way for the people to believe in you. If you are giving people the reason why they are more inclined to give it to you.


Have an Open Heart
Not literally opening your chest to show your heart, but be persuasive with an open heart means you believe in what you are saying. Passion comes out when you have it. You can smile with all the stress people will give you while you are selling. You do not care when they are not interested but you are very willing to change their minds. If you believe in yourself, people will notice that and they will get attracted to listen to you.


Be Grateful
In selling it is not every day that people will have time to listen to you. If they have time to stop by and listen to you for a minute, don’t feel bad if they come walking away after it instead of staying and buying your products. Literally, thank them for dropping by. Don’t show a mad face after they turn their backs because it gives them the impression that you just want their money and not your product to really sell.

My technique in selling product is know the buyers/customers weakness. Check hidden cues and find the right timing to execute the sale. Being a sales agent of a cable company was the hardest job I've handled. It was never fun at all. Good thing I'm out of that line.

Selling, I believe is an art that needs to be perfected over time. There are business consultants who have made a career out of coaching people how to sell. One of the most difficult jobs in the world so that of the sales person, because you want to take someone's money from them. But with the right tools,you can make it one of the simplest and most enjoyable jobs:)

valid points.I think in persuading someone to either buy a brand or a product needs consistency.don't let go.insist still the person buy,no need of giving up in a very short time

So true. I must say selling is not an easy task, thus the salesman is entitled to the commission.We never know how many cases he/she failed before success in one.
