From personal experience, I found out that life isn't easy. It never was and for many it never will be. However, over the years I have found ways to get through a number of stressful situations that will not only lighten up your mood but also help with your productivity. I try to use these methods myself every now and again so hopefully they will work for you.
Just do it
Whether it is a job or a errand you have to do, just do it. That isn't to say just speed through it carelessly but don't think about the negative outcomes of it for too long. That will simply slow you down and bring you more grief than you already need. Just take a moment to observe the situation from a more calm perspective and handle it in an appropriate manner. Don't think of the negatives, just look at what is best.
Go outside
Exercise and staying fit can not just help the body, but also the mind. Taking a simply walk around the neighborhood or through the street can definitely help clear your head. A fresh breath of air is good and it can take your mind off of whatever may be having you in a bad mood.
Stop comparing yourself to others
I think we all have done this at least once in our lives. We always compare our success to the success of others and don't always like the outcome. No matter what we do and how much we accomplish we can never be who we compare ourselves to. You are your own person with your own strengths and flaws, there are some things that you have an easy time doing and sometimes that are simply too difficult. All you can do is two things, be yourself and try. Comparing yourself to other people will only make you see no value in yourself or any efforts you do. Forge your own path and goals.
Make something out your hobbies
I'll explain this one. I am currently writing an e-book and plan on making a novel series on it if it get enough good feedback. If I make enough money on it I plan on hiring an illustrator and make a comic book series on it. I had a love for creative writing for sometime now and written some stories in the past for just fun. Now, I plan on making a decent income from my passion. I'm not saying make a career out of your hobby, simply do something with it that is not only productive but might also give you some positive feedback and heighten your mood . Maybe join a club that involves your hobby, make videos of it or just share that hobby with friends.
Appreciate the things you have
You should always try hard to get the things you want in this world but stop and try to love the things you already have. Family, friends, good health or even a few material possession. There are a number of things I want in this world and will always try to get but sometimes it is best to just stop and look at what I have. You might get what you want and you might not in the future. If you do then good, if you don't then just be happy with what you already have and keep trying. Don't let failure discourage you, just keep your head up.
