It's a little after 10AM. I'm visiting my daughter's apartment for the first time. We're over here because the air conditioner for our apartment is broken. The temperature is not so bad in our apartment because the apartment people gave us a portable A/C. But it only cools down one room. All the other rooms are really hot and stuffy. So my daughter wanted my husband, her father, to come over to her apartment until the A/C gets fixed. I was going to stay home and deal with the heat. But evidently, my husband can't stand me not being near him. So he called and asked for me to come over to my daughter's apartment and be with him.

Do the words “big baby” come to mind? He's a sweetie and I love him. So I grabbed my laptop and drove over. Her apartment is only ten minutes away and she has Internet access so I can still work online.

I've been busy the whole day getting some stuffs for my little business. It's kinda tiring but it's okay, I manage to get high sales today.

Almost on our 5th day with no air conditioning in our apartment. Woke up with a headache and a back ache. I'm pretty sure it's related to the heat. Didn't realize I had become so used to having air conditioning. Grew up in a house where we only had box fans. How did I survive? When our A/C broke I thought I could tolerate it. But now I know why people die in this Texas heat! I am miserable! Oh well! Not going to complain because I know my life could be worse. I count my blessings.

My granddaughter is now on her school trip! I have a tidy house and so little to do. I can go out and come back when I like .. so why am I missing her so much?

My day was okay. I suffer from Chronic Migraines so I have been hurting mostly all day. I have been pushing through like a warrior. I have been trying to find one of my photos to color so I can share a tribute because this marks the eighth year that my sister has passed and she was fourteen years old. She had autoimmune hepatitis every since she was eight.

My day has been thinking about her and finding a song and a photo to color and share with my friends and family on facebook soon. She loves butterflies. she also loved baby blue and pink. I mean other than that I have been doing okay and I am ready for bed now because I want today to be over with and tomorrow to start. I am just tired and I am hoping that I won't have a migraine tomorrow so that I can function more and not be so sad or laying down.

I did not do much but take kids to school and spend the day at home. I am waiting for the weather to get cooler so I can go to the park and take the kids.
