My husband just asked me if I remembered this song because he didn't know it. Had to go look it up. Turns out it was #1 on the Billboard Charts in 1979. Anyway. Since I found it I might as well listen to the other songs included in the recommended list.
WorkAtHomeGal ~ I like your musical tastes. :)

I had to listen to some U2 since @cmoneyspinner brought up Ireland in another thread. This song goes back a ways but it was when I really liked their music.

Cool! My favorite artist from Ireland is Enya. Although I liked most of the artists from Ireland that had their music played in America. Clannad. The Corrs. Loreena McKennitt. Sinéad O'Connor. The Pogues. Shane MacGowan. Máire Brennan. Etc. I'll bet there are lots of talented singers and bands that the American audience has not been exposed to.

@cmoneyspinner I love Enya, Celtic music, and I love River dance. My other favorite out of Ireland is The Cranberries. It is sad that Dolores passed away just this year. She was so young and she had such a unique voice. This is a remake of their song Zombie. She passed away on the day she was going to redo her vocals on the remake so the band Bad Wolves released the song and all profits are being donated to Dolores' children.

Ah yes! I loved them too and I was shocked to hear of her passing. Her voice is a one of a kind. Thanks for the link.
