You can install Hackintosh legally if you purchased the Mac installation DVD, but gives some work!
You can always prefer by a free solution some linux distro: Elementay OS (Very Beautiful), Ubuntu, Mint, Kali.
Or wait until you leave the windows 10!

Ubunto? By the way Window's 10 removed Windows Media Player so that's kind of sad.

What did they replace it with, out of curiosity?

According to articles, they did not replace it with anything, the reason for that is the diminishing use of Windows Media Player.

I actually think they removed it due to legal issues in Europe. If I recall right, there was a version in Europe which had no media player purely to comply with european law.

I agree, but its a double edged sword. I remember trying to modify slightly the system files and then forever stuck at lock screen.

If you were all the time on Windows i recomend you to start with Osx for apple. Its much faster and reliable.

As you have said, aside from windows :) well its better if you will try the higher versions of Windows OS. I really suggest it. And if you are talking about OS of phones, Android is the best ..

instead of Ubuntu, you can try linux mint. It's based on ubuntu, but very user-friendly :)
You can try it on a virtual machine so you don't loose any data or need a backup...

You've already tried Linux? There are many flavours of it, Ubuntu, as some has suggested, but also Linux Mint, which seems to be a "newbie-friendly" flavour.

Having the operating system for your computer was a breeze if you would always choose Windows. However, You could try Ubuntu-Linux for security and scalability.
