i never had this problem but if it happen for u you can fix it. the only thing you have to do just change main board of your hard driver.

My hdd failed one week ago, it was 7 years old btw.

It fortunately has never failed on me, I make back-ups regularly though in case it was to happen.

5 years ago I had a pc desktop and i installed large number of games to it
and finally my hard drive is failed to work and I changed it.
