It suddenly dawned on me that I published content at Vocal.Media but never hung around to visit other people's content. I decided to hang out for a bit, browsing, liking, and sharing. Maybe that might bring visitors to my content. Fingers crossed.

For what I heard wattpad is a recent site (never heard about smashwords), what makes you think that these two sites are better than Hubpages or vocal?

Smashwords is where you post the ebooks and you get good income out of it. And wattpad if selects yoour writing, earning passive income is pretty easy. Way better than hubpages and vocal which hardly makes you money for stories.

Commenting does not bring the views required for monetization because that view gets counted as in network logged in view. So it does not help much on hubpages.

I have noticed some of the posts have given me ideas I never thought about. There was one post where the person picked 3 cooking shows on Netflix to talk about. Well duh! Why didn't I think of that? Actually I think I thought that Vocal would not approve. But since I saw one now I know I can try to submit one for approval. I love watching cooking shows and might as well earn some money for it.

Well you need to write something interesting for the panel to select your content. It's going to take some time reaching that level.

Once you get popular they send you invite and your future stories and content becomes paid only. And thre aresome people who are earning from it.

Are you a member of wattpad? Are you having success with your writings there?
I have been looking for a good writing site, I was happy with virily but the way the site is right now it doesn't worth spend our time there and in HubPages I find it quite difficult to earn.

There is no minimum. Whatever you make they pay you.

Depends on your country.
US and canada gets payout at the month end.
Rest of other nation gets paid when balance reaches 50 dollar.
