Why is that a problem? Should people get paid for referrals that join and don't do anything there? Makes perfect sense to me.

The $1 referal is not bad but the 100 posts is a bit higher , I thought it was 50 posts initially.

It's always been 100. I've had a referral there for several years that quit after about 59 posts.

It makes sense to wait until a certain point because some people join, make a few posts and never return. So in that sense, it's not beneficial to the site. It's as easy as that. If sites went ahead and paid out as soon as a new referral joined, you just know people would abuse the system.

2 reasons possible -
1) You posted in non paying section
2) one comment was below 100 character.
If there was any other reason, then let us know.

That's very much true, people will just abuse the system, and the forum will be losing woefully. I just love the way referrals makes some good amount of comments before they become counted as valid referrals.

You won't earn for comments on faucet section and also make money online section means you can earn in sections after Marketplace section.
