I think Henry Cavill is already frustrated with Superman because he have no second solo movie. Wonder Woman got her 2nd solo movie and she will have a 3rd, Aquaman have a 2nd solo movie, Shazam have 5 picture deal. Meanwhile superman have 1 solo film and 2 crossovers.

Cavil Just accepted to do The witcher due to the lack of direction of his Superman role. Well he have the Snyder cut but that is not a solo movie.

He is now telling the Broccolis that he wanted to become James Bond because DC and Warner is doing nothing for him. Oh he also streams videogames now because he have nothing to do. He is so bored waiting for a movie he accepted Enola Holmes just to pay the bills.

I think we will see before Justice League before Superman solo. Superman is just to strong and he need enemy from space. On Earth he is to strong and I don't think somebody can make good movie with enemy from Earth.

His portrayal of Superman was great thus I enjoyed the first movie of Superman. Even his role in The Witcher was excellent. I can understand if he really is frustrated for not having a second solo movie because Superman is supposed to be the face of DC. I wished they prioritize the Superman character more.

He won't be bad as the new Bond though he can play the baddie in that as well.
And well I am lagging behind in terms of watching many of the movies that you mentioned.

I am, kinda sad that Cavill is done on being Superman. He is going to be the Next Highlander and he is also on the running to be the next James Bond. He is upset with his run as Superman. Seriously Wonder Woman is More successful than him since she have 3 solo movies while he only have 1.
