Until now, I never have. I could swear I entered my username and password correctly each time but I was eventually locked out. I could not get back until I sorted a list of items which was not easy to accomplish on this phone. What, is this new or some of you had the experience before? I was wondering if the system banned me. LOL. Really, do we have a new feature or it's just that I didn't notice it before?

Hahaha it must have been frightening LOL I'm glad that it ended well and you were NOT banned after all. And no, it's never happened to me. BUT there was a time when I couldn't access FC because my ISP had done something stupid. This went on for about 6 months and I was gutted I couldn't log in. And then one day it resolved itself out of the blue Very strange!

I must admit I've often put my password in wrongly because I have fingers like a bunch of bananas sometimes but the most I ever did that is twice. Usually I'm signed in all the time anyway. How many times can you put it in incorrectly before it blocks you? I think if you were banned you would be informed.

Up until about 3-6 months ago, it was rare to have to complete a question to login as i think it used to be 4 or 5 failed attempts. It will now show after 2 failed attempts. It is to reduce the risk of someone malicious getting into users accounts. There are multiple lists of usernames/password combinations on the internet from sites previously hacked sites that sometimes get used. This was the case earlier this year when somebody attempted to flood the login page with alot of login attempts which is why I reduced the number of failed attempts allowed before having to complete a question aswell. It is hard to get around this question setup without someone purposefully writing some code to solve it which would be rare for somebody to do for a site our size.

Overall it is nothing to worry about and just a security method to confirm that the login attempt is being made by a human. Some users may have to complete it on their first or second attempts if someone (maliciously) has already exhausted some or all of the 2 failed attempts allowed. It is why we always say users should have a unique password for every site as these bad things do happen and can be successful if you reuse passwords.

If you are banned, you will be told so along with the ban duration and any reasoning we give. If you can't login then it is an issue somewhere probably down to an incorrect username or password being used, CAPS LOCK LEFT ON or just a mistype. If you still can't get in, you can then reset your password and you should be able to gain access to your account through that method.

Yes, I believe so but my thoughts got crazy because not long before it happened, I was talking about system banning people in another discussion.

I have saved mine on the mobile so it login automatically and this is backed up on Google too.

I have never had that on FC but i have experienced it on other sites and it was the most frustrating time, then after all that i was i was banned when i was almost getting to my payout the worst time ever.

I have noticed I was logged out automatically few times don't know why but since my passwords are saved in the Google account so no problem there.

I have never exceeded my login counts before, maybe it was a glitch that occurred on your own case. Some days site might be over bombarded with so many activities making to lag becoming faulty at times.

I sometimes get logged off but I easily get logged in. It is only once there was an issue and I emailed @Fergal when he said that the Site was down.

I have once entered the wrong password. It was not a wrong one from my side, one of the keys on my keyboard was not working well that day and needed a hard press. Glad that I got it correct next time
