It's worth buying a SSD?

Postby Allius » 30 Jul 2015, 10:40

Today there is much talk of the SSD. I have never experienced. They say it's faster. What other advantages do you have?
It is worth investing in a SSD?

Cool! When buying an SSD drive I can keep the hard drive that I have as a backup disk (without operating system).
Too bad SSDs are still more expensive than other hard drives, but the price today, is already lower. ;)

It's definitely worth buying an SSD. It takes your computer to a whole new level of performance. I have seriously noticed performance enhancements in every single thing that I do thanks to my SSD.

My laptop disk died a couple of months ago and I replaced it with SSD and don't think I could ever go back to HDD.

That's the trick, since most SSDs aren't that great when it comes to how much they can store, having a mechanical drive to store the stuff that is less important to you saves you from the headache of constantly managing your 64/120GB worth of SSD space.

My PC boots up in around 12 seconds, when I see the windows loading screen, it's gone within a second, the only thing that takes long is my response and my BIOS.
