There is currently a plague of people who is doing plagiarism.This needs to stop. Plagiarism is such a big offense you will get banned right away. To newbies, please do not copy paste something you never wrote. Writing your own opinion from your own heart and mind is what will make a quality content.

People are so shameless with their plagiarism that they copy paste content from actual members here. While some copy articles and pass it as post so they will sound smart.

People need to read the terms and guidelines before starting on any website. And if they have any doubt they can always approach you or the admin. I mean it is not rocket science to write a simple original post. One just needs to read a few here and hang out for a while to understand the site and get a hang of it. Copy and paste might get them some easy money in the beginning but they run the risk of getting banned soon and losing more. Hope they get your warning seriously and mend their ways.

Some of scammers will take name of an author and make same username for money making websites and then just garnish rich rewards. It could be very long time before they find out about the fraud.

That's really sad and these scammers bring bad quality and reputation to the site. Because of them many sites have gone down the drain and real genuine users have suffered.

In case of traditional website is that a problem of us or owner of a website? I think an owner should know that where is a money there will be scammy people and protect the website's business. In case of decentralized website the community members should check what they vote on, like on Hive, they have downvoters that take reward from scammers, but there is also downvoting for genuine content which makes many genuine content creators leave and never come back.

Whenever there is a new member, I give them links to rules but they ignore it so now they are banned. I tried to save them but they don't want to be saved.

I just don't get why people do this. With forum owners and writing sites being so hot on it now you would think they would give up but to actually copy posts from the same site they are posting on is madness.

Why would you even steal someone else's stuffs.... Stuffs that were never yours. I believe we all have heads to think and write.

Doing that should convey that ban, it will serve as a deterrent.

I also feel bad when people ask the same question on different forums. Even though they might be using a different language, it is not good to ask the same question on multiple forums. This will create duplicate issues.

Of course people need to read the rules. But you know I think everybody knows plagiarism is wrong even if thee rules don't spell it out. For real! You know when something isn't yours and you're using it without permission.

And yet! They keep doing it. I have been online are various sites for over a decade. Yet at every site I hear the same complaint! A member is upset because somebody plagiarized their content. It's hard for me to think of one site where nobody had that complaint.

Rule breakers are inevitable. Most of them don't read the rules and policies. We just have to report someone committing plagiarism so they would be banned and showing a certain member got banned might discourage other members to plagiarize others' works.

There is no point in copying the content and pasting it here! Here we need not write any thesis either to initiate a discussion or to answer one. Writing couple of sentences really doesn't need the help of Plagiarism. I feel sorry for the people who are plagiarizing.

That's the wrong way to go, as usual people want shortcuts to become famous and look like they know so much yet they are just copying from others. If you want to grow do stuff with your own mind and you will see how much more you can do and how much you know, copying is never a solution.I hope they learn from what they read.
