Well Turkish people are technically white, Half of its is part of Europe and It won Eurovision before

I know. But I always thought of Turkish people as having dark hair and dark eyes. Not red hair and green eyes.

Popular Comic Book character Red Sonja is the Next Ginger to get racebended, She is called Red Sonja because her hair is red but Hollywood thinks erasing gingers is the best way to give jobs to Black actors.

I wont mind them casting blondes, brunettes and People of color as gingers if the actors will dye their hair red. Zendaya can pass as a redhead when they casted her as Mary Jane but they didn't dye her hair.

Disney dyed Halle Bailey after she got cast as Ariel after social media harassed Disney to dye her hair Red.

Their excuse is redheads are white and there are tons of white roles. How about make new characters or use characters who are already POC to begin with instead of erasing red heads.

They are white but still a minority because its a rare skin condition.

I think they are just being racist against red haired people. Like you said more than one race have the red hair. And even if they pick another race. They could still dye the hair red like the original character.
