So I have tons of messages on my phone (samsung note 2) but everytime I tried to delete one thread, it doesn't get deleted. Even if I wait for a couple of minutes, the phone hangs and eventually a pop up message will tell me that the messages crashed. Do you know any android application that deletes a thousand messages at once without crashing?

It is easy to me to delete sms in my smartphone, I am using Geonee P2 phone and I am getting only few sms daily. I keep some important sms in my smartphone and all other waste sms I delete them every morning without fail.

Try to Wipe Data & Cache, backup everything before you do that. Seems like you have some kind of virus.

Yeah it looks like a virus. There is a app called Super Backup. I have never used it but my friends said it was very useful. If it is not helping you can restore your phone.

I think your Android has a problem or maybe it is infected with some kind of virus. Perhaps you scan it first if your phone is clean before you try to delete.
