First of all, do you prefer to travel by land, air or sea?
Personally, I need to travel by car. I have traveled by air in the past. However, I am too much of a coward to do it now. When I was a child, I wanted to travel to England so bad. We were poor. There was no way we could have afforded to buy airline tickets.
I have traveled by bus before. A few loved ones and I went by bus to see a Pittsburgh Pirate baseball game and to see some parks, such as Sea World.
Where have you traveled?
I have traveled to California by plane to see Knott’s Berry Farm, the ocean and Disneyland. I went to Myrtle Beach by plane and laid out on the beach. I have been to other places, but mostly by car.
Would you like to go there again?
I might go to these places again. If not by car, then by bus. Both types of vehicles make me feel safe.
So, yes, personally, I would love to go to these places again.
Is it expensive?
Mostly where I have traveled, they are tourist spots. So, yes, expensive. It is good to travel with your own food as tourist spot grocery stores are usually sky-high in cost. I can be wrong sometimes though.
The Amish are known for their hospitality. An example of one of my favorite vacation spots is Amish Country. Tons of food (especially homemade noodles). Tons of shops, especially thrift shops and homemade goods. For example, I love their jalapeno jams, such as jalapeno blackberry, jalapeno cherry, etc. If you shop online for such jams, the cost is astronomical. Next, there are lots of hotels. The hotels, such as The Carlisle, are so peaceful. Some rooms have a view of the Amish countryside. Then, watch out for those horses and buggies!
Attached is a photo of one of my favorite Amish restaurants called The Dutch Valley. The all-you-can -eat buffet is outstanding. Usually, when I dine there, I gain 4 pounds! The wait is usually 20 minutes. The restaurant is huge with an accompanying bakery and gift shop. In the summer, the restaurant’s front porch has Amish-made rocking chairs to either rock while waiting or to buy.
If you ever travel to Ohio, the Amish are the way to go. Cedar Point can’t even come close to being as good as the Amish.
