Recently this has been happening quite often. I could be in the middle of responding to a thread and when I hit submit I'm prompted to log in again, why? I'm not on the forum for hours so why am I being logged off in such a short space of time. When I do log back in everything I wrote is gone. Am I now required to decide what I'm going to say, log off, write it then come back and post before I get logged off?

It happens with me only when I open a certain thread and does not perform any activity for like 5-10 minutes and if after that I write a comment and click on submit then I will be logged out so I guess if we are not doing any activity for 5-10 mins then we will be logged out.

Thanks for letting us know and sorry that is happening to you Lushh, can you please try checking the "Log me on automatically each visit" checkbox when you are logging in and see if that helps?

I face this issue only when I am not active here for more than 5 minutes. This has been a feature of this site from the time I have joined it.
Hopefully, the tip from Fergal is helpful.
