What extension is used here for phpBB for ForumCoin? Was it custom-made for this site?

AJH, are you asking about the extension we use for our forum currency? The one we use is the Ultimate Points Extension for phpBB, it seems to be abandoned now and not receiving further development, but it is working successfully here on ForumCoin.

Yup, that's what I was asking. I thought that's what it was. It's a shame the development stopped that is a great extension! I have used it before.

Do you have some backup plan in case original software block installation or it becomes incompatibile?

As it is installed here, it will always be here. If we update the forum software, we can fix up any issues. We have made quite a few changes to the Ultimate Points modification for custom features so it will be alot of effort anyway but it should be manageable.

That's an interesting idea. I dedicate as much time as I can to ForumCoin. If I had another version of the site, I would not have as much time to spend on this one. I'm also not sure that another version of the forum software would make that much difference. Thanks again for the suggestion.

Yes you have full right but having same name and small change on domain name as suggested let members remember both of them. Take your time to decide.
