Is anybody here still using the joystick? I have noticed when the Gameboy got popular, the arrow keys are being used. So what happened to the joystick of the olden times?

I do not use joystick, but I use a gamepad to play some games. I love to play some old games (NES) as Tetris, james pond, snow bross, pacman ...
On my old computer I had a joystick but I think nowadays it is rarely in use ... only for pleople who plays aircraft simulators, I think.

I have never use a joystick. It`s been years since then when my brother used to it.

I use it to play some games with joystick but i like keyboard/mouse better, but again it depends on the game.

Man... That was a long time ago. I was still a little kid but I remember having one and watching my brother playing games with it.
I believe this was the one we had:

Those kind of joysticks i think only retro gamers that like to play on old game systems like the Commodore Amiga or people that like to planes/flights simulators use them.
However lots of people that like fighting games use arcade sticks controllers which is kinda like of the same "family"
Arcade Sticks are also good to play those arcade games that you can play by emulators like MAME

I have seen the joy sticks but not used it till now. Now joysticks are out of date. When we have a shop on those days we are selling the video games there I saw the joy sticks.
