Some expired foods if they have gone bad would give a peculiar smell.
Also one needs to take care to keep cooked foods like vegetables in the Fridge at the right time, especially during the summers.
If left unattended, hey might rote easily.
And many a times, food more than 3-4 days older is likely to go bad.
If you know that the food is going to expire in a few days, place in the freezer until you really need.
Such food comes out of the freezer fresh!

Today, our neighbor brought over various day old breads. She doees this once a month.
I placed half in the freezer and half in rhe cupboard.
The roommates do not like such day old breads, but I am grateful and appreciate tremendously.

Do any of you know of this cookbook?
Years ago, I owned a copy of a Richard Simmons cookbook.
I am stupid when it comes to cooking potato salad and would rather keep the potato skin on. With other potato dishes, I keep the skin on. For example, Crock-Pot German Potato Salad with Kielbasa.
In his cookbook, he wrote about his Grandmother's Potato Salad and how she left the potato skin on.
I cannot find this cookbook anywhere. I do not know the title. I cannot find the cookbook on my bookshelf or at the library or online.
Do you know anything about it?
Thank you!
