Fox have no writers, no scriptwriters means no tv shows. To survive, Fox decided to make the reality show Stars on Mars, Celebrities are given Astronaut Mars colonization training. Well actors and celebrities are unable to work too because of the writers are not writing so they resorted to saying yes to doing Stars on Mars.
Since celebrities are not trained astronauts, It is fun to watch them fail miserably. Its also surprising if they somehow succeed.

I just watched the trailer, hadn't heard of it before. It sounds like a great concept, I wonder how well I would survive in that environment Unfortunately I don't have Hulu, but will definitely check it out if it comes to Netflix or Disney Plus.

Lance Armstrong Ronda Rousey Tinashe Ariel Winter
The first episode is hilarious because Ariel Winter being Born in 90's 2000 doesnt know who Lance Armstrong is but she is so starstruck because she thinks he is Neil Armstrong the Astronaut

That is hilarious Lance Armstrong was extremely competitive, he has a lot of experience of winning endurance sporting events and his approach to cycling was quite technical. Based on that, I'd tip him to win it, even without knowing anything about the other participants.

I hate reality TV shows with a passion. This is not the first time writers have gone on strike. I remember my first time hearing about writers striking. Supposedly, in the end, they got what they wanted. But nobody mentioned that reality TV shows were going to become all the rage. Basically, they agreed to pay the writers more but no longer required their services. They got screwed. I suspect they will get screwed over again.

Networks are threatening the writers if they dont stop their strikes they will be replaced by ChatGPT and non Union writers. They should try Korean writers, cheaper pay, but better stories.

I might watch it just to check it out. I know Ronda Rousey is also on the show. I remember years ago there was a writers strike. it does not make sense why they want to strike. I just think it is greed

Yeah. They should write webtoons and then have them adapted into a movie or TV series. I get that people want to stand up for their rights, But sometimes it's best to move on. If you got skills that are not being appreciated, go use them someplace where they are valued.
