In regards to Vin Diesel, he got started in stage acting when he and his friends broke into a theatre with plans to vandalize it, but they were caught by the theatre director. She gave them a choice: she could all the police or they could have parts in the next stage production. Obviously they didn't want her to call the police.

I think you mixed that up; I think she was a star of BAYWATCH before the tape came out.

(She became famous by simply sitting in the stands at a football game; the camera caught her, the 'agent' saw her & she became a model (first for the brand she was wearing at the game, then for PLAYBOY, and so on).)

Gisele's story isn't that weird, as she was actually taking a class to be a model when they scouted her taking a break at a McDonald's.
