First they cast a racially ambiguous Peter Pan, The actor they cast Alexander Molony is Multiracial. He is Indian,Latino,Middle eastern, Native American and his nationality is British but has no white ancestry.
Second, If you all know the original story, Peter Pan brings Wendy with him so she will be a mother figure for the lost boys because they are all boys and needed a female figure.....

We all have an image of how Peter Pan looks like and it is that image that we want to see in the cinema, I understand all those dislikes, as Disney defrauded public's the expectations. Nothing against the actor but as far as I am concerned I also prefer to see a similar Peter Pan to the one I see in the books.
