Kamala Khan just debuted on MCU, she has an upcoming movie but they killed her off in the comics. She sacrificed her life to save Spiderman. Why would they killed her off in comics when they are building her up in MCU. I heard rumors they will replace her with a multiverse version of her that is similar to her mcu powers. Since her comics powers is different from her movie powers.

Well, I can think of 3 reasons:
1) The movies/shows will follow a different storyline where she won't die
2) The character is not well-liked so they are giving up on her storyline (in MCU, so it won't matter what happens to her in the comics).
3) She "dies" but will be brought back somehow.

Well , I don't feel like they will kill off in the MCU anytime soon , she just got introduced last year. She's so young, she could probably act for many years to come .

Well when it comes to these superhero comics, a lot of their characters have died and have been bought back one way or another. Anyways lets watch and see how things goes.
