Why not? I'm not saying that you should (I don't eat it either), just wondering why? Do you consider it unhealthy, or is it because you think deer are cute, or some other reason?

I had a taste of deer meat once and the taste was grotesque. Yes, I do think of Santa Claus' reindeer.

With the cost of things right now, I don't think anyone has to be ashamed about being frugal.

We should avoid wasting food at all cost. In our country, where rice is a staple food eaten with viand. In order to save and avoid wasting money, I would see to it that we only cook what we can consume. If there are left overs, we will keep it in the fridge and we will heat it for the next meal.

I have 2 big bags and 1 big box of rice in my kitchen pantry. Would you be able to tell myself some of your good ol' home cooking recipes for rice? I am a good cook, but have really only prepared stir fry with rice. Thank you! ;) ;)

Last week was so funny! My roommate opened the fridge door and said, "Dude! There's no food!" We managed to be THAT frugal! So, this past Tuesday, we went grocery shopping and bought groceries that we both like without arguing.

Then, guess what! The "bread man" brought 3 boxes of day-old bread yesterday! Tons of English muffins, bread, donuts and donut holes, sandwich thins, popcorn, spaghetti sauce, rice, cookies, etc. Excuse myself if I have forgotten an item. We call him the "bread man" but he obviously brings more than bread.

We are so blessed. I was not expecting the "bread man" yesterday or I would have had a Christmas gift for him.

So, now, we shall begin again to be frugal with a ton of food!
