People are now worrying about the World Cup next year. I've seen discussions on Reddit, and many people are saying they might have to skip the games played in the US. Even on the Botswana sub-Reddit, people are not at all looking to go to the US. Yeah, I bet it is. I have a friend who was planning to travel to the US this year but changed her mind because of the political situation. Lots of Aussies over there have had their phones taken off them and searched through, which is such a violation of privacy. I'd carry a burner phone if I was going over there any time soon.

Tourism within the US just moves the money around. Tourists from abroad brings foreign money in, which they need.

Because of Trumps Anti-immigration stance, a lot of tourist are getting arrested for no reason. With that No one wants to visit USA anymore. At this moment Saudi is probably safer to visit than USA now as USA border security and Airport security has been putting tourist on ICE. Also Canadians do not want to visit USA anymore after the tariffs.





Now the tourism industry of the USA is dying. No one wants to visit.

Those Tourists should come to Uganda. We are free for everyone who wants to visit for as long as you have a reason to or even without. I am sure when applying for a VISA you mentioned the reason, so wonder whu such happens to people whose reasons for visiting are known. May be is temporary.

I don't know why Trump has a hard stance against foreigners. Why would I as a foreigner go for vacation in a country where the government has demonstrated hatred towards me.?

People from other countries, especially would-be tourists, should show self-care by shunning the USA.
There are many other equally exciting countries to visit as a tourist.

I guess LA fire which cause a lot of damage have affect. LA have a lot of visitors and after fire people don't go there since town is not rebuild yet, especially richest part who attract a lot of tourist.

The US has been less sought after for tourism all the time because of the cost. Now, the tourism suffers more because of these latest developments in Trump's regime. Canadians were the ones who visited the US most because it was an affordable and convenient destination for them. But now the relationship between the two countries has turned sour and that has badly impacted the tourism too.

And Canadians do not want to be Americans. Canadians have free health care and College. Americans have to pay for their own ambulance (free to many countries) and Americans pay Student loans until they are elderly.
