Honda thinks their hydrogen car will dethrone the EVs. Yes, a car requiring water to run. Brilliant. Forget those tedious hours spent tethered to a charger, just locate some hydrogen. What could go wrong? Previous attempts at hydrogen cars, you say? Well, those either vanished into patent limbo or their creators met… unfortunate ends. But this time, surely, it will revolutionize the "automobike" industry. One can only assume.

Hydrogen is the chemical element with the symbol H and atomic number 1. Hydrogen is also a key component of water. May be researched confirmed it working. Since water is everywhere, no worries.

I hope, Honda can pull it off. The idea of a car running on water and getting rid of long charging times sounds great.

This sounds like a good breakthrough both on affordability and environmental concerns. But then what kind of water can be used would be another concern in the line. Water crisis around the Globe is another concern. If they can make something affordable for sea water to be used by these cars, it would be great. In my city, electricity is more available than the drinking water

It will past at least another decade to hydrogen car on wide use. Current electric grid need upgrade for EV cars and it goes slow. For hydrogen you need new factorys and networks of hydrogen fuel stations so you will do it from scratch.

Sounds like a great news ! I hope that their logistics and other planning is well enough!
Also handling Hydrogen fuel can be a good enough challenge but Honda would have made enough provisions.

Oh! Then it might be problem with places with water scarcity. Seeing the video, the car has dual energy source...a battery to be charged and then hydrogen fuel. If this works out, there would be need for more hydrogen fuelling stations.
