So I watched this movie starring Christian Bale who depicts Batman and Heath Ledger who is the psycho criminal "Joker".
This movie redefined the superhero genre through a gritty, hyper-realistic crime drama.
While Christian Bale delivers a sturdy, physically imposing Batman, the film undeniably belongs to Heath Ledger.
His portrayal of the Joker—a "pure agent of chaos"—is nothing short of legendary, earning a posthumous Academy Award.
The way Joker causes many killings, some outrightly ghastly and not depictable, makes him hated and feared at the same time.
The narrative masterfully explores the fragility of societal order and the thin line between heroism and villainy.
With Hans Zimmer’s ticking-clock score and sharp cinematography, the film feels more like a high-stakes thriller than a comic book adaptation.
Overall dark, but something to watch !
