On part I of how to make money on tweeter we looked at the first seven steps to growing a tweeter following.
On part II we concentrate on becoming an influencer
1. Stick to your theme topic
Just like a blogger, sticking to a niche or theme makes you a master worthy to be trusted.
Think about a doctor who only treats eyes; people tend to believe that he is the best eye doctor there is.
2. fully update your profile
Most people (especially those who are serious) un follow anyone with a half filled profiles; completely fill your profile including;
• Bio: give a short description of who you are and what you do and add a few hash tag keywords to ensure people who share the same interests find you.
• Profile picture: add the best photo of your face; pick the one that portrays your smile at its best.
• Background image: include an image and a message that brings out your theme or central message.
3. Search questions and answer them
Use tweeter search box to find common questions and concerns that people in your area of concentration have.
You can answer these queries on your own or find a relevant post that answers that question accordingly.
Mention the people who have that same concern in that post and they will love you for it.
4. Tweet other peoples stuff
Retweeting other people’s posts says you are a team player ready to work. Most people return the favor and thus the more you retweet the more your posts gets retweeted.
Make a schedule to retweet posts you find interesting to ensure you don’t collide with your own tweets.
5. Welcome new followers with a message…
When someone follows you, it’s good courtesy to send them a thank you note and a welcome message.
If possible, a short description of what you do only gets them to like you more.

6. Engage with other people
Tweeter is all about engagement, the more you relate with people the more popular and influential you become.
Connecting with other people via, mentions, Retweet and private messages will expose you as a friendly person; 4 out of 10 will return the favor and consequently your influence will grow.
7. Include #hashtags
A hash tag connects you to trending and related topics and makes it easier for other users in your niche’ to find you.

Find relevant trending hashtags on:

8. be fun to follow
There’s nothing more people like to do on social sites than to have fun; once in a while post some funny post and your follows will love you for it.
And you don’t have to be funny, just retweet a funny post and you are good.
9. Use other people powerful quotes
A great post is a great post, whether it belongs to you or not; if an influencer tweets a powerful quote, take it and tweet it.
