It's early morning here in England so we've only just had breakfast. I haven't given it much thought but my granddaughter has an after school club tonight and she is always starving when she gets home. It will be something with veggies .. ha that will please her!!

No sure yet still have to go to town then once I'm there I'll decide what I'm going to cook, thinking of making a chicken stew.

It's morning here in Botswana and I'm not feeling a 100%, so I'm not sure what I'll be having for dinner tonight. I'm thinking something I can shove down without the need to chew because my appetite's suffering at the moment. It'll probably be soup or yoghurt just to fill a hole.

Last night was a less-than-successful casserole with browned ground beef, rice, carrots, broccoli, and cheese. We ate it, but it seemed underseasoned somehow.

Tonight was a bit better... I made garlic brown sugar chicken breasts and served them with buttered rice and steamed broccoli.

Tonight we are having some delicious oxtail. Again, I'm having mine with cauli rice in place of regular rice, which my husband refuses to give up. We'll have that with some peas, too.

I really don't feel like cooking tonight so whatever it is it will be something simple which doesn't take too long. I quite fancy pizza and garlic bread :)

It's 9:55pm on my side of the world but I haven't had dinner yet. I am taking care of an infant and can't prepare dinner for now so I am still guessing what my dinner would be. It actually depends on ehat my husband would be bringing home for me. Your posts make me hungry!

I was reading the posts here searching for some inspiration for my today's dinner ... I will cook a soup for sure and perhaps grilled salmon with rice :eh:

I'm having a typical Indian vegetarian dinner with aloo, cauliflower and chapati. I love eating simple and home made food at times.

Last night I made this pork chop recipe http://www.jamesandeverett.com/2016/02/ ... ork-chops/ for my husband (found on Pinterest, of course). :D

I left out the soup/milk but it turned out very well. Falling off the bone and fork tender indeed.

Tonight, I will probably stick with my salad with chicken in it (as mentioned above) and make something else for the fam. I'm thinking slow cooked country style ribs with seasoned oven fries and some sliced tomatoes.

OMG thisnthat, you're getting me salivating with all your food LOL You must be a whizz in the kitchen. Thanks for sharing your recipe :) I love ribs and could have them every day without ever getting sick of them.

Tonight I'm not sure what we're having. We are defrosting our fridge, which is all but empty so there's not much in :( We decided to defrost it before stocking up. I think we may well get takeout.

Ha ha happy to 'help'.

Everyone in my family can cook, so I had lots of people to teach me.

Well, it will be a relief to have the fridge out the way. What did you end up with for supper?

I'm not sure what we're having tonight. Pizza night for kiddo. I'll probably have soup. I'm coming down with something and don't have much appetite.

We are having Mac Cheese tonight. My granddaughter will be having school dinners because I'm sick of her wasting what I put in her sandwich box each day. I know I have to pay for the dinners but at least I won't have to look at the waste when she gets home. It drives me insane because she squashes her sandwiches up and puts them in the bottle compartment underneath the bottle hoping I won't notice

I threw in a roast last night for Sunday dinner. It was easy, and I didn't much feel like cooking. I'll use the leftovers tonight to make a nice beef stew or beef vegetable soup. I haven't quite decided which one I prefer yet.

I had sauteed vegetables. It was good. i do not eat rice because it makes me feel full that makes it hard to breathe and for my liver as well. My mother was the one who cooked it. She is really good cook.

First off, I hope whatever was trying to take hold of you blew over and didn't become something horrible.

The day we defrosted the fridge, I think we ended up getting take out. I can't quite remember what exactly it was. But tonight I think we'll settle for a smoothie, as it's a warm evening and we aren't that hungry.

I was pretty miserable for over a week, but I am much better now. Thank you.

I really need to defrost my chest freezer, but I'm dreading it. I have been using what's in there, but I have a little ways to go yet before everything will fit in the small freezer in my fridge.

I think I will throw some chuck steak in the skillet tonight. I'll have salad on the side, baked potatoes for everyone else.

I have no idea what I'm going to cook tonight so I'm wading through this thread to try and get a few ideas. There are some really tasty sounding recipes here.
