So there is now a movie and tv streaming site called Pureflix and their mission is to make super wholesome content. No open mouth kissing, No nudity, Republican friendly, Pro-life and the characters pray a lot.
Wow its so cringy but it managed to make 100 million bucks for a startup.
Their shows are so low budget they cannot rent an office or build an office set so their soap opera that is set inside an office is 100 percent green screen.
Korean dramas proved its possible to make wholesome family friendly content without being cringy. The early 2000's show Joan of Arcadia managed to make a religious drama look watchable. But yeah Pureflix is just bad writing and cringe.
The trailers are so cringy!
They even managed to make a religious action movie starring a fat biker.
Don't say I hate it because I am Atheist because I actually liked some Religious flix that are well written and actual Christians complains about how awful their shows are.

I think they had been around since 2005 making straight to dvd stuff but started streaming around 2017 but yeah their shows and movies have tendencies to be cringy.

Yeah that is no good. I love to see hooters.' I mean who would really get this service? I think it's crazy. But I guess some people like it. I would probably not enjoy it.

I think even Christians will be too uncomfortable to watch this platform because it is way too fanatical

I agree. Which is why I'm just fine with Hallmark.
It is basically Hallmark in steroids under the control of 700 club.

The 700 Club? Oh now I get it! Yeah. That seems like something they would do. It's a money angle. Even Mel Gibson knew where to go get money to make that film "The Passion". So no doubt the 700 Club folks plan to rake in the cash just like Mel. If I'm wrong, may God forgive me.

Sad. But not a surprise.

I've seen the first God's Not Dead (reluctantly) but I've never heard of Pureflix. Theism is a large market but I don't know any theists that ONLY watch theism-inspired shows. What a weird market. To each their own, I suppose.

That is kind of funny!
