Hand Written Letter or a Letter Typed in Phone?

Postby iamshane487 » 23 Jul 2015, 14:45

Another way to use my spare time before wisely is to write a short letter to a good friend, a close family member, an inspiring teacher, or even to myself.
Nowadays that the growth of technology is inevitable, I have not seen teenagers writing a letter like I did when I was a teen. Many of them write it through chat or even text. In my point of view, I appreciate letter when it's written in hand because we really see the effort.

What is your opinion to this?

Hand written letters are nice yes but I am also okay with getting a email letter. Text letters seems like to much typing on such a small key. I rarely write with pen and paper now just off and on but I like doing it to remind myself I can do this and technology doesn't have to take everything away.

Sometimes I get scared with the notion that I would forget writing with my hand. I used to have a good penmanship but now I seem to have difficulty even just noting down things, what more when I write an article with pen and paper? The keyboard seems to be the extension of my hand when it comes to writing.

Maybe It depend on the person you are writing. :/

But I prefer both. Cuz I choose what I need at moment when I have to do it. Without that if am not curious I don't really care much

I hate the thought that we have forgotten about hand written. I think that we should not be so into the new way of life that makes our hands not want to work anymore.

I agree with you think a handwritten letter transmits more feeling and more closely but it is also something that has no use if I want to write to someone using the most widely used form economically and faster and practices or facebook ve e- mail for this side unspent money to pay the post office , not worn paper or pen and even better people who will receive your letter gets in seconds thinking about the ease that technology offers us today

Well some people have horrendous handwriting and you would spend more time trying to figure out what they have written than enjoying the message. I do appreciate a nice handwritten letter or note, but for me it's really not that important. A nicely worded electronic message would suit me just fine.

A true testament, however, that times are truly changing. The days of writing a letter, putting it in an envelope with a stamp and dropping it in the mailbox are pretty much gone.

I think it is sweet if eve someone will still send a hand written note. My friends used to write me little notes on a post it and I liked it I usually keep them but it is hard to accumulate those little clutter. An email is good to keep though

I prefer the first one because it is always nice to receive a letter from someone, I hate typing in the phone even if it is a small message.

That was so sweet of you. Me, I used to doing that to my parents whenever they are celebrating their birthday. You know the kind that makes them feel very special.I hardly do it now. But it is quite fascinating receiving it though.

I don't prefer hand written one, because they may not be able to read it properly if we want to convey our message it should be clear and understandable.

Sometimes when I send a birthday card I will write a short letter to go in the card especially if I haven't seen the person for a long time. Some people prefer a text and it's a good idea if you have forgotten to send a card to send a quick text to let the person know you haven't forgotten them.

Hand written letter must be more better, it is more personal and for me it shows sincerity and how much you truly love and value the person. Thinking this days the technology runs every time, many forget the natural and lovely way of sending letters to our love ones and friends.
