Worst books ever?

Postby Netherrealmer » 19 Dec 2021, 18:09

They said don't judge a book by it's cover but base from the covers alone, I do not want to read the following books. I had manuscript that was rejected by publishers and I can't fathom the fact these books got published.

Maybe I should be inspired instead of livid, If these writers managed to get published, then I should be able to get published too.

You didn't read the books, that's why. You judged them by the covers so you'll never know. :) Based on the covers, I wouldn't be interested in reading any of those either so you're not alone. On the matter of one of them becoming a documentary, you can make your own documentary you know.

I write poetry and whenever I see a poem getting lots of attention online or being published in a hard copy even they are not good... I feel like my works deserves more attention than those bad stuff...

These books certainly have funny names. Maybe these bizarre titles are a way to attract specific readers.

The same way you would hear some songs and you just have to ask yourself, how the hell did a studio approve this songs, so also there are books like that and even movies.

May be some day I could try one of these. As for one of the worst I read was a book written by a Noble Literature prize winner with a novel that was
- way too unorthodox
- too complex
- too many people
- too lengthy

And after a point, I stopped reading that novel. That is, it remains incomplete and I have no plans to start it again!
Else, there were some not too inspiring books, but I did manage to finish most.
