One day I logged on and found close to 300 odd points deducted.
I messaged Admin and they restored the points - probably some technical glitch.

I realized that too. I think they have some keywords which when you use in your post will earn you more.

There is no such information, Mr B did not made any announcement of degreasing the increased reward.
