It seemed like Biographical movies and Mini-series are going to be trendy this year. First we have the true story of Elvis Presley. The movie is titled Elvis.


We also have Pam and Tommy- Which is a true story about Pamela Anderson's stolen sex tape.


Blonde, a film about the rise and fall of Marilyn Monroe.


Tammy Faye, Life story of the controversial pastor/televangelist


The thing about Pam- About a woman who killed her best friend and framed her best friend's husband so she can get their money.

When they roll out, they come in numbers. We don't just get one of anything. It's the whole crew. I didn't notice that (biopics) before but yes, now I see the pattern here. That last one is creepy though, woiee. Who does that? Interestingly, that's the one I'd want to see.

Joe Exotic is a gay Tiger sanctuary owner with 5 crackhead husbands, All of them are straight but he gets to convince the to marry him because he gives them crack and all that drugs .He makes money by making people pay to have pictures with baby tigers. He euthanizes the tigers when they become adults. Carole Baskins is an Animal rights activist and a Big Cat rescuer who wants to take down Joe's business. Oh she is no saint too. She killed her rich Husband and fed his body to the tigers but didn't get jailed because there is no evidence against her even if she obviously did it. She use his money to fight for the rights of Big Cats. Joe Hates Carole so much he hired an Assassin to kill her.

Yes both these crazy humans beings exist in real life.

I remember you wrote something about the tiger sanctuary here on FC but I don't recall you saying these things about Joe at the time. I left with the impression that Carol was bad and Joe was kind of good. That's me though. I still prefer to know more about the snow storm lady than them.

I didn't know that The Rock has a Biopic TV Series about his life and it got renewed for a Season 2. Most People know that the Rock is Black but he is Half Samoan. This Tv series focuses on how he grew up with his Samoan extended family. They cast actual Samoans to play his family. I think his dad touring with WWE as a wrestler made him identify more with his Samoan side.

Anna Mae Wong is the first Asian Hollywood actress. Hollywood mistreated her so bad that she left America for Europe because they gave her better movies. One of the most painful moment of her life is when Hollywood cast a White woman over her to play a Chinese woman on movie because the role of the Chinese Husband is getting played by a White guy and back in the 1940s, Interracial kiss is illegal.

Anna Mae Wong also felt alienated by America because they treat her like a foreigner even if she is American born and raised. She is also alienated in China because she is too American for them and they hate she always play villain roles.
