ForumCoin is a place to share discussions on a wide variety of topics. The posted topics come from the active members. If there are no new topics, there can be no new discussions. We are all the way down to just 140 topics!

The “New Posts” link at the top of the page has a default setting of displaying topics that have been discussed in the latest 7 day period. If there is no activity on any topic in that period, they expire and are left to the archives of the site unless someone does a search and brings them back. Most never see the light of day once they drop off that “New Post” list.

New topics that have not yet received any reply are listed under the “Unanswered Posts” link. At least the first full page in the unanswered posts list are all new from the last few months but no one has responded to them. Go look at that list and provide your wisdom in a response.

Every member needs to make a point of providing new topics as part of your site participation. We all need new topics just to be able to share our collective wisdom in the replies. Aged topics with thousands of replies are full of repeated commentary that serves no purpose, but that seems to be at least someplace members can post something, as boring as they are.

Many members have left, and one of the specific reasons is the lack of new topics. A daily average of 35% to 40% of all who log in each day never find anything to write about and leave with no new posts … every day!

If you like ForumCoin and enjoy posting content, you really need to make a habit of reading the news and studying your own topics of interest and come prepared to post at least one new topic every time you log in. It is not a one time thing. It has to be every time you log in. It needs to be a integral part of your site participation. That has to come from every active member.

The lack of new topics is strangling productive new content.

Your actions and intent plus suggestions on this site are superb and show so much of an effort!
Yet somehow many of us are perhaps failing to do the needful.

I have returned here after a few weeks of inactivity due to turmoil and stress and well, I would be perhaps more regular (at least on the weekends).

Plus I might hop on to Crypto and related sites as they could be a good fodder for my new topics.

That's true, but the incentive given for the member's contribution should also be matching and motivating. Otherwise, people won't be tempted to waste their time for a penny or two.
