Hey guys,

I hope that this is the right place to post this.

I tried doing it on my own but I can't figure out how to delete a comment that I made.

I know how to edit it but I can't delete it outright.

Is that possible? If yes, can you please teach me how to do it?

Personally I too don't know how to go about deleting a comment. Let me sit back and relax so that I can hear from the experts.

Members are permitted to edit a post but once it is posted, you cannot delete it.

They had a long explanation about it sometime ago that had to do members posting content they were paid for, but then they removed it to post somewhere else. Once posted, it is supposed to stay put.

On the other hand, they do delete content by request if your post contains personal information you should not have posted and for some reason you can't edit it out. If needed, contact Fergal or CyberFreak by pm with details for more help.

They also delete content that is offensive, but that usually includes a ban for the bozo who posted it.

Well I did not know that you can't delete a comment. Learned something new today. But atleast you can mend your mistake

As for as i know, uou can edit but not delete, only the admin can do that. Try to edit your comment in a nice way.

You cannot delete but you can edit it by removing what was originally posted and just put something in there.

You can edit the comment wich things like that does happen would just have to be careful on what we type these days sometimes it can be difficult to erase a comment.

The easy way to remember it is to scroll to the bottom of this thread and click "Bookmark topic" so you can always scroll to the top of the post list and click on "User Control Panel" and look on the left panel for "Manage Bookmarks".

I personally think that it is not possible to delete the comments onces they were posted. But we can edit them.
