Ellite

Postby sweerie_banana » 29 Aug 2022, 11:31

Three class kids were given a scholarship to a school where the rest of the students are wealthy, but when one of their classmates turns up dead everyone is questionable. There's always a murder happening in this thriller that's so mind-blowing and leaves you glued to the screen wanting to watch more.

There are also a lot of sexual themes in this series. You must watch it though I think it ends in season 4.

I'm awaiting the premier of the next season. There's always a different plot with each season, and murder is solved.

It should have been banned cause of her not wearing a hijab.
I agree there's a lot of LGBTQ in that series. It's very sexual. Funny how I watched till season 4.

I think actual LGBT people will rather watch Heartstopper than this because that one is a more human portrayal while this one is too sexualize.

As what I have read from reviews online, I don't think I would like to watch this on my free time. I guess I'll pass.

I can't complain much about the movie but it has put much of it's focus on the sexual part of it

Netflix actually made an Indian remake of Elite, it's titled Class, and it's actually impressive. It still have lots of sex, but unlike the original, the character have more substance because the issue of caste system was involved, which make the narrative more interesting. But the controversial topics like the Muslim girl who falls in love with a man of a different religion, the gay characters, and also the murders are still there. The Indian equivalent of Marina is still super skanky because she cheated on her boyfriend with her boyfriend's big brother. But they made it clear on the remake that she's really into older guys.

Season 3 is shocking because it has incest

Mate. that series is so hot. The story of ordinary kids being given scholarships to a rich school and then things get messy is really interesting. You find yourself wondering if anyone could be a suspect. Every episode has a new murder and it makes you unable to stop watching. It's like every minute something new is happening.

There are also sexual themes that are placed in a way that shows the real lives of young people. Although not everyone will like that part but it contributes to the reality of the story. I thought it was ending with the fourth season but now I'm eagerly waiting for the premiere of the next season. Each season has a different story and the murders are solved in a surprising way.

If you like thrillers, you must see this. It makes you think a lot and leaves you with some tough questions. There were times I found myself wondering about people's behaviors and how they hide things. Even if there are minor mistakes in the writing, it's still interesting. Don't miss watching please.
