Their art is what puts food to their table and with A.I that can make beautiful photo realistic art in seconds is around, their livelihood is in trouble. Also a lot of these A.I art used their art as templates for their randomizers. One writer use to hire artists for his children's books and recently he just used A.I art and he got books publish for cheap since he wont share royalties with an artist from the sales of his book.

I was suspecting this day would come soon and now it came. The AI revolution is so mean in some scenarios (like in this case) that it destroys the livelihood of the creators of the data it has been fed with since its inception. Some kind of regulations and interventions by authorities is the need of the hour on behalf of the artists that gave us those beautiful arts for centuries

A.I comes with its own pros and cons. Like any technology advancements, this can be used for good as well as bad. I wish human beings understand that sooner. Else it's going go be a chaotic world very soon. Anything that replaces human intelligence and creativity will not be good for human race in the long run. This protest is quite valid and people need to support this. We need some sort of regulations in place for such technology advancements as it might be a threat to human beings in some time. Technology should add value to human life and not ruin the creativity and intelligence.

A balance is needed. One cannot give everything to machines.
What will humans do then?
Start some Mad war here and there or do something else in desperation.
One can use AI as an additive to the human effort and not replace them totally.

Its understandable though. Not just ai arts apps alone, even toon apps which are pretty much simpler, people no longer go to artist for their jobs, rather then tend to do it with apps.

There is even an A.i now that can write lyrics and compose melodies.

There is sometime question about A.I and copyright. A.I. scan internet and on those compile something but nobody didn't ask authors can A.I scan their content. When person use somebodys material, he/she must name author. A.I don't do that. It just scan content without giving author credit.

This A.I turned me into an Anime character, I like the result it will be my avatar now. Yes I have beard when I took the selfie.

I have beard when I had taken my selfie. My former avatar is me without beard. I prefer having no beard but if you are busy you will have no time. I hate eating ribs if I have beard.

The reason for such protest for something like that is that I A art will eliminate artists' jobs.

It is not perfect though because it does not recognize teeth showing smile, black people and wrinkly people. here is my second attempt of converting a selfie.

My second attempt, I didn't shave my mustache but they didn't recognize it because I am smiling with teeth,

This could be predicted since video game characters are computer generated. I guess A.I will take most places in video game industry.
