Netflix's "Attack of the Hollywood Cliches" ... should've stayed on YouTube

Postby friendociate » 12 Jan 2023, 01:20

Oh, it was a fun little special; but no, YouTube (or else some other online video platform) is where it belongs.

In fact, it might be on there ... no, but I found the next best thing (essentially 'clips of the original' ... which is basically 'what the original was'---and THAT'S one of the 'clichés' they missed ...)

The big cliché they missed? These industry commentator specials, where their experts take turns giving us one or two sentences at a time

And the one big place where they messed up? They listed the "You Killed My Father"-cliché, and didn't even mention Inigo Montoya ("Hallo! My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father; prepare to die ... HALLO! My name--...")

Do you remember 'what movie it's from,' or is it like the way I remembered that song "Where Do We Go from Here?" without remembering the show that introduced me to it. (and if you don't remember, maybe 'playing the video' can remind you ... is the video embedded above?)

OK! I'm not gonna cheat and Google it. Let me see if my memory is failing. I think it's from the "Princess Bride". (???)
